It’s been a lot

It’s been a couple months since my last post…and it’s been busy. 

I finished my first university Python course and then, while I wait for next semester, I jumped into a Python bootcamp via Udemy. Still working on that..

In the meantime, I discovered AI. As in, not just the YouTube hype AI I usually consume. I’m actually figuring out how to build actual AI agents on OpenAI and other platforms.

I was almost done building my first one, but I decided I don’t like it and I’m going to start again lol. 

No biggie. I’m still learning…and the next one I’m going to start (which will be the first one I complete, I promise) is a tool I actually need for one of my content projects. 

Speaking of which… in these past few weeks, I learned how to bulk create content on Canva. I feel revolutionized! 

Because this project is to do with Samoan language and culture, I can’t leverage ChatGPT to help with the actual articles. First of all, I’m a better writer zz and second, Chatty can’t speak Samoan.

No, really.

But he tries.

So the writing is still on me…but the more I learn about Python and agents, the more I sniff out automation potential that I cannot wait to implement! After I build, of course. 

Anyway, yes. I’ve been busy. 

And then we had a sudden death in the family last week. That was… is… hard. 

Also last week, our church choir (that I help organize and play piano for) performed at an area conference, finally releasing me from the multiple weekly choir practices we’ve been having, so I can breathe a bit more freally now…. and true to form, I’ve delved back into work. 

It’s my … not exactly my ‘happy’ place so much, but it’s definitely where I feel most at home. 

Let me work on straightening up this work-life-anything-away-from-my-desk ship before it tips over.
